Kwasi has joined Mind at a crucial moment in the consolidation and development of a newly implemented CRM. The brand new role that he took was complex and difficult, combining the skills of a Database Administrator with that of a Database Developer. He had to set up all technical backups from scratch, to participate and advise on improving the facilities that the CRM had to offer. He’s been instrumental to the development of complex reporting facilities.
He has got brilliant technical skills which he continuously improves by doing his own reading and training, thus bringing new technical ideas and solutions. I cannot recommend Kwasi highly enough. Kwasi worked for me as assistant DBA at the Natural History Museum (NHM) for just less than a year. The nature of the department at the NHM requires the DBA team to be able to function independently, on their own initiative. I had the utmost confidence in giving Kwasi any project involving any aspect of the SQL database cycle (SSIS, SSRS, etc), the general management of the servers and other software we are responsible for.
